Copyright & Content Policy

How copyright owners and users can report content on OtakuVerse.

OtakuVerse respects intellectual-property rights and expects users to do the same. Anime titles, characters, artwork, logos and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Submitting a copyright request

Send a clear request to otakuverseanimecommunity@gmail.com with the subject “Copyright Request.” Include:

  • Your full name and contact information.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work.
  • The exact OtakuVerse URL, username, post, message or other location of the content.
  • A statement explaining why the use is unauthorised.
  • A good-faith statement that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised representative.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Review process

We may request additional information, remove or restrict access to content, notify the affected user and retain records necessary to process the request. Incomplete or abusive requests may be rejected.

Counter-notice

A user who believes content was removed by mistake may contact us with identification of the removed material, an explanation of their rights and the information required by applicable law. We may restore content when appropriate.

Repeat infringement

Accounts that repeatedly infringe intellectual-property rights may be suspended or terminated.

Respecting creators

OtakuVerse respects creators, publishers, licensors and fan communities. Valid copyright concerns can be submitted through our support channel for prompt review.
